Anonymous Third-Party Whistleblower Hotline
Fraud Hotline provides a third-party anonymous and confidential reporting service for suspected fraud, ethics violations, and workplace concerns. Employees, volunteers, board members, and contractors can submit a report 24 hours a day through our secure website form or our 24/7 reporting line at 1-855-FRAUD-HL.
Reports go directly to the people your organization designates. Not to us to interpret, and not into a system your managers control.
What’s Included in Your Annual Fee
Two ways to report, around the clock
Some people will type. Others will only ever use a phone, often after hours. You get both channels: a secure web form and a 24/7 voicemail reporting line, available in English and Spanish. Neither requires the reporter to identify themselves.
Your own company code
Each organization receives a unique company code. Reporters enter it so their report routes to the right place. If you operate multiple locations or chapters, each site gets its own code, so reports arrive already identified by location.
Up to three designated recipients
You name up to three people to receive reports by email. We recommend naming at least two, and where possible including a board member or audit committee member. If a report concerns your executive director, you do not want the executive director to be the only recipient.
Workplace poster and digital materials
A hotline nobody knows about does not work. You receive a printed workplace poster plus electronic versions to share by email, so remote staff, volunteers, and board members all have the code.
An employer account you control
Log in any time to update your contact information and change who receives reports. Staff turnover should not mean reports go to someone who left.
Unlimited reports, no usage charges
Unlimited reports at no additional cost. No per-report charges, no overage fees, no setup fees. Your annual fee is the entire cost.
What Your People Can Report
Reports commonly fall into three areas:
Accounting and financial: embezzlement or misappropriation of assets, accounting errors or misrepresentations, financial statement fraud, internal control problems, bribery and kickbacks, falsified contracts or records.
Compliance and ethics: conflicts of interest, theft of inventory or intellectual property, violations of law or organization policy, self-dealing, misuse of organization property, vandalism, ethics violations and misconduct.
Human resources: discrimination, harassment, workplace violence or retaliation, substance abuse, privacy and HIPAA concerns, identity theft, unfair labor practices.

A best practice protecting the assets, volunteers, employees, board members, and reputation of a public charity, association, or church.
No setup fees and no per-report charges. We offer a 50% discount to all nonprofit organizations. We believe in the importance of this service and we value what nonprofits contribute to their communities. See full pricing and how we compare to other providers.
Multiple locations or chapters? Each site gets its own reporting code, and organizations with three or more locations receive significantly reduced per-location pricing. Email [email protected] with your location count and we will send a quote within one business day.
Why a Third Party Matters
An internal reporting address works right up until the concern involves the person who reads it. At an organization with 20 or 40 people, the finance lead, the office manager, and the executive director are often the same small group with the most access and the least oversight.
An independent channel removes that problem. Reports arrive from outside the organization, and reporters know their identity was never attached to a company email server.
The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners found that 43% of frauds are detected by tip, and 55% of those tips come from employees. Your staff are your best detection control. The question is only whether they have somewhere safe to go.
A Critical Component of Whistleblower Policy
Our service is more than a reporting tool. It is a key element of a well-established whistleblower policy and is widely recognized as a best practice for both businesses and nonprofits. By putting an independent channel in place, organizations protect their assets, their people, and their reputation, and demonstrate a commitment to integrity and transparency.
As the Journal of Accountancy put it, “tip lines are one of the most effective tools organizations possess for detecting and preventing fraud.” Read more in Fraud hotlines: Don’t miss that call.

Service FAQs
Do you investigate the reports?
No. We deliver reports to your designated recipients as submitted, with the date received. Your organization is responsible for evaluating and following up on every report. We do not assess the validity of what is submitted, and we do not sell investigation services.
Is the reporting line answered by a person?
The reporting line at 1-855-FRAUD-HL is a secure voicemail line available 24 hours a day. Many reporters prefer it precisely because there is no live conversation and no chance of a voice being recognized in the moment.
How long do you keep reports?
Each report is deleted from our server twelve months after it is received. We keep that window short on purpose: the less report data we hold, the less exposure there is for your organization and for the person who filed the report. Your designated recipients receive the report immediately, and your organization holds it as its own record.
What if we already have an HR reporting process?
Many clients keep both. An internal process handles day-to-day workplace matters. The hotline covers the reports people will not bring to a manager, and it gives your board evidence of an independent channel.
Can we cancel?
The service is billed annually. There is no long-term contract beyond the year you have paid for.
How does your price compare to other providers?
We are the least expensive option we are aware of, and we publish the comparison rather than asking you to take our word for it. See our pricing page for published rates from other providers, the add-on fees that often sit outside a quote, and an honest note on what those providers include that we do not.
